the texture was being applied in the main living area. the walls were so white.

the posts were originally going to be square at the base, but the base had to be 2 feet by 2 feet. that made the columns really large. in some areas, it looked like a wall of stone. so the guys came up with this column detail. the bottom is still 2x2 to cover the pipes and concrete but doesn't look so large at the top

the retaining wall from the east side of the house to the south side of the house. that is the door to the garage. steps from the deck will take you to the flagstone landing. you can either go up steps to the north to the driveway or down steps and to the right to the patio
