house 9-11-08

lots of progress has been made on the house, yet it is not possible to actually photograph it all. there are lots of skilled workmen out at the house. the electrical is being installed, the pipes are being run for the gas, heating is being installed and venting. shower pans were being poured while i was there today.


the front porch opening was moved for the front doorway. we should be getting the front door next week.


Frank and Brett were putting in gas lines.

the air handlers are being installed. the units move the cold air and the heated air through the house. there are three units: one for the basement, one for the main floor and one for the second story


the electrical boxes are being installed and wire is started to being run through the house


the back wall of the house as well as the other walls of the house are made ready for the stone to be attached. that is a black felt material with a wire mesh over it


my favorite, instead of a closet under the basement stairs, we will have a small playhouse. those are the two windows that will be on the side, the door at the end will be two small swinging doors like those in the western movies.
