house 12-12-08

so much is going on at the house. the lights and plugs are being put in. the floors are going in. tile is going in. the built ins are being installed. the plumbing fixtures are being installed and the treads on the basement stairs are being put in. we have a potential move in date of jan 10th.


the ceiling fans are in the main living are as are the recessed lighting

we put a cedar closet in the basement storage area. it smells so good in the closet

instead of a closet pantry, i had a wall of cabinets for a pantry

cabinets are going in the kitchen

the interior doors are being stained and ready for hanging

wood floors in the entry way, dining room, living area, master bedroom, study/craft room, and the hall and seating area on the 2nd floor are laid and covered with brown paper and card board

tile in the sun room has been laid, it looks so good

a cherry cap has been installed at the stairs to the basement

the floors being installed on the 2nd floor hall and seating area

sinks and toilets are being put in the bathrooms. tile has been finished in the basement and 2nd floor baths. the tile in the mud room bath shower is to be done this week as well as tile in the master shower and tub


built ins are being installed in different rooms, this is in one of the 2nd floor bedrooms

this is in the basement living area, to store the tv componets

these are in the sitting area on the 2nd floor, they have been installed since this picture was taken

duffey making sure the boiler is working properly. the heat is a much needed thing since we are having record cold weather this week. it is -13 at the moment. it was -19 in the wee hours of the morning. that does not include the wind chill and the wind is really blowing.

Hello Cecil and Sheri, we loved looking at all your pix. We would love to see your place when it is done. It looks beautiful. I hope you got our Christmas card-I sent it to your Elizabeth address; I kept it from your Christmas letter last year. What a wonderful family you have, and how happy you both seem. We miss you guys.
